  • Bernat® Blanket Pixel™ (10.5 oz/300 g; 191 yds/174 m)
  • Yarn weight: Super bulky 6
  • County Fair (46009) 7 balls or 1206 yds/1103 m
  • Size U.S. M/N 13 (9 mm) Susan Bates® Silvalume® crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Susan Bates® yarn needle.

Gauge

6.5 sts and 4 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in Waffle Pat.

Instructions

Note: Ch 3 at beg of rows counts as dc throughout.

Ch 81 (multiple of 4 ch + 5).

1st row: (WS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 1 dc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 79 dc.

2nd row: (RS). Ch 3. *1 dcfp around next st. 1 dcbp around each of next 3 sts. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dcfp around next st. 1 dc in last st. Turn.

3rd row: Ch 3. *1 dcbp around next st. 1 dc in each of next 3 sts. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dcbp around next dc. 1 dc in last dc. Turn.

Rep last 2 rows of Waffle Pat until Blanket measures 54″ [137 cm], ending on a RS row. Fasten off.
