Crochet Magical Witch Hat Pattern
The instructions are written for Child size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written Child (Adult). Numbers for each size are shown in the same color throughout the pattern. When only one number is given in black, it applies to all sizes.
Notes:
- Ch 2 does not count as st at beg of rnd.
- Move marker as work progresses each rnd.
- When working in hdc, do not join rnds unless indicated when color changes.
With B, ch 2. (See diagrams)
1st rnd: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join. Work in spiral in continuous rnds. PM for beg of rnd. 5 sc.
2nd rnd: 1 hdc in each sc around.
3rd rnd: 2 hdc in each hdc around. 10 hdc.
4th and 5th rnds: 1 hdc in each hdc around.
6th rnd: (2 hdc in next hdc. 1 hdc in next hdc) 5 times. 15 hdc.
7th and 8th rnds: 1 hdc in each hdc around.
9th rnd: (2 hdc in next hdc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc) 5 times. 20 hdc.
