  • Yarn Weight: Super Bulky  6
  • Contrast A Canyon (13007) 1 ball or 182 yds/166.5 m
  • Contrast B Storm Blue (13009) 1 ball or 175 yds/160 m
  • Contrast C Pink Quartz (13016) 2 balls or 421 yds/385 m
  • Contrast D Grey Cloud (13015) 3 balls or 588 yds/537.5 m
  • Size U.S. L/11 (8 mm) Susan Bates® Silvalume® crochet hook or size

Notes: 

  • Each Block is worked off side of previous Blocks
  • When working along top of Block, work into each st.
  • When working upside of Block, work 7 sc evenly along side edge of Block working around beg ch-1 or through 1 leg of sc (not around entire st) to ensure Block dimensions remain consistent and width/height of Blocks are maintained.

1st Block

With A, ch 8.

1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 7 sc.

2nd row to 8th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

2nd Block

Turn work 90 degrees clockwise.

1st row: (RS). With B, ch 1. Work 7 sc evenly across side edge of 1st Block. Turn.
