Ch 83.
1st row (RS): 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 82 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. Sl st in first sc. Dc2togcl in next sc. Sl st in next sc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows for Cloud Stitch Pattern until work from beginning measures approx 46″ (117 cm), ending on a RS row. Do not turn after last row.

Border
Note: (Ch 1. Join with sc to first sc) counts as corner ch-2 space.
1st rnd (RS): Ch 1. Working down left edge of blanket, work 92 sc evenly to next corner. Ch 2. Work 1 sc in each of 83 remaining loops from foundation chain. Ch 2. Working up right edge, work 92 sc evenly to next corner. Ch 2. 1 sc in each of next 83 sts. Ch 1. Join with sc to first sc. 350 sc and 4 corner ch-2 spaces.

2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc around joining sc. 1 sc in each sc to next corner ch-2 space. (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc) in corner space. Rep from * twice more. 1 sc in each sc to last corner. 1 sc in last corner space. Ch 1. Join with sc to first sc. 358 sc and 4 ch-2 spaces.
3rd to 5th rnds: Rep 2nd rnd 3 times more.
