Base

Large Basket: Make magic ring, leaving end 2″ [5 cm].

1st rnd: 8 sc in ring. Do not join. Work in continuous rnds. PM for beg of rnd. Move marker as work progresses. Pull end of ring to tighten center.

2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 16 sc.

3rd rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. 24 sc.

4th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. 32 sc.

5th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. 40 sc.

6th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Rep from * around. 48 sc.

7th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Rep from * around. 56 sc.

8th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Rep from * around. 64 sc.

9th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 7 sc. Rep from * around. 72 sc.

Small Basket: Work from ** to ** as given for Large Basket.

Medium Basket: Work from ** to *** as given for Large Basket.

Sides

1st rnd: 1 sc in each sc around. Do not join. Work in continuous rnds. PM for beg of rnd. Move marker as work progresses.

Rep last rnd until Side measures 8 (7½-7)” [20.5 (19-18) cm].

Sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
